MONCKS CORNER FARMERS MARKET   Georgie Ford and friends will be selling baked goods at the Moncks Corner Farmers Market every Thursday from 3-7 pm at Unity Park beginning April 3.

FISH FRY the PCC Men will be providing a Fish Fry for our church and the surrounding community on June 14th from 5 to 7 PM. You may dine-in or carry out. The menu will be fried Arkansas Blue Catfish., hush puppies, cole slaw, grits, french fries, catfish stew, and desserts. Prices are as follows; $13 per plate for adults, $8 per plate for age 12 and under, and $5 for catfish stew. This event is designed to reach out to others with God's message, raise funds for future programs and giving, and provide fellowship for all.  Please mark your calendars for this special day and invite others to join us.

FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST The women will be serving breakfast on Sunday morning at 8 am in honor of all fathers.  All are welcome and encouraged to join.

UPCOMING EVENTS

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT bring blankets and pillows to spread out as we enjoy a family film together. Hot dogs, nachos, chips, desserts, drinks, and popcorn will be provided! The next Family Movie Night will be on Friday, June 20 at 6pm.

VBS PLANNING/INFO MEETING there will be a VBS planning/info meeting on Sunday, June 29 immediately after the worship service in the Fellowship Hall.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VBS will be held on July 28-31 from 6-8:30 pm. It’s not summer without VBS! Come join us in fun as we learn and grow in our walk with Christ! Children will have an awesome time at our 3 day Egyptian themed VBS event. Dinner is provided all 3 days. On the 4th night come watch what your children have learned through song and dance! On the 4th night we will also have finger foods and family activities.

NEWSLETTER DEADLINE the deadline for July’s newsletter is Thursday, June 19.

CHURCH COUNCIL The Church Council will meet on Thursday, June 19 at 6:30 pm in the Upper Room Classroom.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER NEEDED Our Sunday School needs a teacher for 1st and 2nd graders.  If you feel God calling you to this unique opportunity, please see Georgette Jones or Pastor Jeff Roper.  Opportunities for Team Teaching are available.

YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS Pinopolis Community Church people ages 18-39 are invited to the Young Adult Sunday School Class. It meets at 9 AM upstairs in the Education Building, the first classroom on the right. Contact Jaclyn Gatlin for information.

NEW DEVOTIONAL BOOKLETS Many of us have used the Upper Room devotional for years.  This is a publication of the United Methodist Church.  Since we left the denomination on scriptural grounds, we are concerned liberal views have or will be present in this devotional as they have in Sunday School literature. We are now offering a well-respected, long-running ecumenical devotional called Our Daily Bread.  We encourage those of you who enjoyed the Upper Room to now enjoy Our Daily Bread.  God bless you, Jeff
